Mental Performance Coaching — Anywhere in the World
For athletes, performers, and high-achievers who are technically excellent but stuck: the free throw that vanished, the audition voice that closes up, the exam mind that goes blank. Online sessions, worldwide, in any time zone.
Who it’s for
Athletes fighting the yips, slumps, or pre-competition dread. Musicians, dancers, and actors facing audition and stage anxiety. Students and professionals hitting an invisible ceiling they can’t explain.
How it works
Coaching starts with a performance assessment: where the block shows up, what it costs, and what’s feeding it. From there, a focused program — typically 8 to 12 sessions — builds pressure-tested routines, rewires the moment of choking, and gives you tools you keep. If assessment suggests something clinical is underneath, Nan will tell you plainly and help you find the right care — that honesty is part of the service.
What makes this different
Most mental-game coaching stops at technique. Nan’s clinical training — PhD, LPC, EMDR-trained, 25+ years — means she can see the difference between a habit problem and a fear problem, and she’s seen your block before, whatever it is.
Performance coaching is an educational and skills-based service available worldwide; it is not psychotherapy. Clinical therapy services are available to clients located in New Jersey, where Dr. Kurz is licensed.
